Currently in Social Studies, we are learning about the early explorers of Canada.  Math is finding us numbers deep in fraction fun!  Although our Accelerated Reader Competition for January has come to an end, we will continue our own AR Challenge in 5th grade.  We have just completed all of the Science Fair projects, and  we are excited to jump back into our texts.  In English, we are sharpening our writing skills with expository writing, with a continuous focus on grammar and punctuation.  The Holy Spirit is the current focus of our Religion studies.  Our Artist of the Month project involves film making and has proven to be a great management task for our three film directors.  We are extremely busy in fifth grade!
