Two VME students have been awarded $1000 Tuition Scholarship for receiving one of the top ten scores on the 2011 Villa Maria Academy Entrance Exam. Congratulations to Emma Shimek and Ashley Khouri (number one and number three respectively). More significant than the cash award is the fact that they finished in the position that they did. This year, over 130 eighth grade students representing 31 different parochial, public, and private schools sat for the first exam. This is a great achievement for Emma and Ashley and again we would like to say “Congratulations”.
