Students Slip by Teachers in Volleyball Upset
The gym was roaring on Friday afternoon as VME closed out Catholic Schools Week with an exciting volleyball tournament pitting students against their teachers. Students with the help of our 'athletic' principal, Mr. Finazzo dug out the final victory by one point. Final score:13 to 12!
The noise level in the gym was at an all time high. Several of our illustrious teachers donned cheerleading uniforms and pom poms to cheer on their fellow educators to no avail. VME students, with signs in hand, followed the cheerleading squad in chants that helped to push their friends to victory.
