Development

Hello, and welcome to the newly created Development Office of Villa Maria Elementary School. The office is rather new to the VME Community.  First and foremost, our goal is to expand the VME family to include alumni, grandparents, parents, faculty, staff, students, businesses, former parents, friends and the list goes on.   We hope to do this by listening to and communicating with VME families, constituents and the Erie community.

We are passionately committed to Catholic education and feel strongly that children receive a lifelong benefit from attending a Catholic School. We are committed to continuing to make Villa Maria Elementary the best school in the area by making sure there is funding to meet and exceed our students’ needs for today and for years to come.

A little about myself.  I am a native of Northwestern Pennsylvania graduating from Robert Morris College in 1972. 

I have worked as an administrative assistant in hospital administration at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and then at Doctor’s Osteopathic Hospital in Erie.  For a period of four years, I worked as an administrative assistant at MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton, LLP law firm.   Most recently, I worked in the Development Office at Cathedral Prep as the Special Events Coordinator from 2003 to 2008 and was very active in building the volunteer program, Premier Night Auction, corporate sponsorships and was instrumental in developing and redesigning the retail services at Cathedral Prep.

I am the proud mother of two boys who attended St. George Elementary School and graduated from Cathedral Prep.

As the Director of Development, it is my hope to bring a dedication to Catholic Schools and an energy and passion to help us further our mission and footprint here in the Erie area. I welcome your participation and involvement to help further the mission of VME.
