The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is sponsoring a summer camp for students ages 10-15 from July 10 - 14th at the Erie County Technical School. Students will be engagied in projects related to electronics, motors, carpentry, wearables, robotics, crafts, and more. They will use their creativity to solve innovative challenges and build, experiement, test, destroy, and re-beuild with scavenged and recylced parts. The Mother Daughter Tea will be held on Saturday, April 22 from 11:45-2:00 pm in Ridgway and on Sunday, April 23 from 1:00-3:30 pm in Erie. Participants will join us for a dress-up tea, which includes time for bonding, fun, and conversations about growing to healthy and holy womanhood. The John P. Tramontano Jr. Foundation was established in 1999 to provide scholarships to grade school students so they can attend a school of their choice. Mr. Tramontano was a staunch advocate of education. He believed that education is the foundation of every child's future regardless of their economic situation and has a right to a good education.
